There were a few challenges as our clients and their three children were still living in the home, but we completed the renovation to our usual high standards – and our clients are very pleased with their “new” home.

 

We took a 1920’s bungalow in Onehunga from a standard 147m2 three bedroom,      
        One bathroom home and opened it up and by adding an extra 25m2

 

  We made an entirely new bedroom

 

  We removed a lowered ceiling at the back of the house to make full use
        Of space  and light through the kitchen and dining area

 

  Removed some internal walls to get a spacious open plan kitchen and dining area

 

In an effort to get more out of the daylight hours, a new window
        Was fitted to brighten up one of the bedrooms

BRS Ltd were faced with a strict timeline when  employed to complete a 60sqm extension and renovation of this small and no longer sufficient bungalow. With about two and a half months before a new addition to the family, BRS Ltd was strictly needed to stay within the timeframe. Which we did and managed to finish – two weeks before completion! BRS Ltd were engaged to:

 

 Add on a 60m2 extension with double glazed double hung                                                     sash windows to match existing ones
 New kitchen  dining and lounge and deck
 New bathroom with free standing bath and tiled shower
 New family room
 Work to the front of the house new deck and balustrade to                                                    match existing new stairs to the front gate

Cold and dark having no character this modern day Villa needed a complete revamp to bring its features back to life, BRS Ltd were engaged to do:

 

  Removal of chimney, walls and old kitchen
 Built in new Ensuite and villa style wardrobes
 Add in a new laundry and office for extended space
 New refurbished, modern style Kitchen
